Summary:
The Clinical Applications Specialist is responsible for a variety of on-site and remote clinical applications support activities related to MeVis Medical Solutions’ software products. Support activities include education and training of radiologists, technologists and OEM customers on the proper use of MeVis products, troubleshooting image quality problems and workflow issues related to scan protocols/product use and assisting customers with the use of MeVis products for optimum clinical performance. This position is also responsible for assisting with the development of clinical reference materials and marketing data and the coordination/staffing of training courses/seminars related to MeVis’ product lines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Conduct on-site education and training on MeVis products in conjunction with new system installations and refresher training
•Perform on-site and remote (phone/email) clinical support for applications-related customer problems
•Work with end-user and OEM customers to optimize the clinical performance of their MeVis products
•Collect clinical data and assist with the development clinical marketing materials
•Develop clinical education and training materials for use by customers and MeVis personnel
•Plan, coordinate and staff education and training seminars on a variety of clinical applications
•Assist MeVis sales, marketing and field service personnel as required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
•Exceptional Computed Tomography (CT) applications knowledge and familiarity with 3D post-processing of images using digital imaging workstation products
•Effective training skills in a clinical environment
•Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communications skills
•Excellent customer relations skills
•Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Experience/Education:
•Registration as a radiologic technologist (R.T.(R)(CT))
