Computer-Aided Detection for Chest Multi-Slice CT

The MeVis Visia™ CT Lung System changes how you work with chest multi-slice CT. Its workflow enhancing design increases your accuracy and efficiency by focusing your attention on what's critical.

Visia™ CT Lung is the first clinically validated CAD system for chest CT and is built on MeVis’ patented CAD technology platform. Precise segmentation of anatomy and sophisticated image processing techniques volumetrically model each patient's lungs to identify potential abnormalities. These areas of interest are automatically detected and marked for further review.

True CAD Performance

Don’t be fooled by “CAD-like” products. Visia™ CT Lung System delivers true CAD performance at the click of a button. Results of a multi-reader receiver operating characteristic (ROC) study showed a 26% reduction in overlooked actionable nodules, with a low median false positive rate of only 2 false marks per case. Visia™ CT Lung showed a statistically significant average reader improvement (P=0.003) in radiologists’ ROC performance for detecting solid pulmonary nodules 4 mm to 30 mm in size.
